Ever since I can remember, I have been on a creative journey. But when I discovered watercolors, there was no turning back. Watermedia best expresses my view of the world: unpredictable, beautiful, whimsical and full of COLOR, COLOR, COLOR!!! In the sometimes sad and trying times of our lives, it is my hope that my artwork will evoke happiness, laughter, and maybe a little magic, too....

I am a graduate of East Carolina University, and I have taken years of formal art classes at the ArtsCenter (Carrboro, NC), Duke University, the Durham Arts Council and I have studied with nationally and internationally recognized artists.

I am a former Managing Artist of Pembroke 4 Art Gallery in Virginia Beach, a founding member of ArtReach NC, an exhibiting artist at the Artists Gallery in Virginia Beach, a member of the Chesapeake Bay Watercolorists and I am a member of the Watercolor Society of North Carolina. My work can be found in various galleries throughout the South East, at juried art shows and gallery exhibitions.
