David Nance is a North Carolina native currently residing in Graham, NC. As a young man he studied with Eleanor Seng and continued his art education at the School of Design at North Carolina State University.
He is well known for his quietly majestic paintings of clouds,
precise portraits, and a succinct style that has broad appeal to
those new to the visual arts as well as the savvy collector.
David’s paintings have been represented in many juried shows and select exhibitions, including an award for “Most Innovative” in The National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society 2004 Best in America Competition, his work was also included in the Asolare Exhibition at The Lincoln Center in New York City.
He is associated with Carteret Contemporary Art in Morehead City, NC; City Art Gallery in Greenville, NC; Heart of Living Gallery in Greensboro, NC; Vision Gallery in Atlantic Beach, NC and The Alamance County Arts Council in Graham, NC.
