The Fairy Princess

This piece 6 ft tall stel piece was commissioned as a memorial for a land scape designer whose 6 year old daughter was killed in an automobile accident. Her daughter loved to dress up in purple and pink and play "fairy princess." To design the piece, I wrote a children's story about a fairy princess and illustrated it as if I were six years old. The client selected the drawing she liked best and it was translated into steel for her garden. Notice, the white flowers at the bottom of the princess dress are also steel.
