David Nance

David Nance is a North Carolina native currently residing in Graham, NC. As a young man he studied with Eleanor Seng and continued his art education at the School of Design at North Carolina State University. He is well known for his quietly majestic paintings of clouds, precise portraits, and a succinct style that has broad appeal to neophytes as well as the savvy collector. He has had numerous shows around the Tarheel state and is associated with many galleries including Somerhill Gallery in Chapel Hill, NC; ERL Gallery in Winston-Salem, NC; City Art Gallery in Greenville, NC; Flemming Harris Gallery in Beaufort, NC; and The Alamance County Arts Council in Graham, NC.
