If the artist's phone number is published on the site then you can contact the artist by phone to buy the piece.

Will my purchase be taxed?

ONLY artwork delivered to residents of North Carolina are taxed and tax collection is the responsibility of the artist.

Will my artwork arrive framed?

Most of the artworks offered on Tarheelgallery.com are sold unframed.

How is the artwork shipped?

In most cases, we rely on express carriers such as Federal Express or UPS. Shipping will be arranged by the artist.

How much does shipping cost?

Since each piece is unique, shipping costs are determined on an individual basis. Costs are calculated based on the size and fragility of the artwork (which dictates the sort of crating or packaging necessary), the distance shipped, and the type of carrier used. The artist should notify you of shipping cost when he or she has arranged shipping of the art work.

How soon will my artwork be shipped?

Tarheelgallery.com does not maintain an inventory from which to fill orders, and artwork is shipped directly from the artist's studio.

How long will it take to arrive?

Your purchase is shipped to you directly from the artist.

What if my artwork arrives damaged?

If the package appears damaged upon its arrival, DO NOT OPEN IT. Return it to the artist.

What if I don't like it? May I return it?

This will depend on the terms of your negotiation with the artist but most artists are very flexible on this issue.
